When awarded the position of Production Designer by MIR & Brad Pitt for his "A Night to Make it Right" fundraising gala, Beese immediately went back to mindset of architecture, creating a signature overall production design for the event hosted by both Brad Pitt and Ellen DeGeneres. There was a need for two stages to accommodate such performers as Sheryl Crow & Rihanna for the Gala and Kanye West, Seal & Snoop for the after party. The idea: create a design that would speak to the architectural language that Make It Right is about. The stage design for the gala was based on the utilization of both the angular overlapping lines of the newly built Make It Right houses and the culturally significant concept of the traditional NOLA "Front Porch". Both would need to tie together the three major staging areas that the event required. Thus the "Front Porch" raised platform would serve as the programmatic device separating the large scale platform in discreet areas for use by the Gal! a along with "Floating Beam" suspended lighting rigs mimicking the architectural emphasis of Post and Beam ideas.
